I am beyond words… So honored to announce that The Last Touch wins Best Scifi Short Film at the Hollywood Boulevard Film Festival 2021! This is the first time I win as a filmmaker.
When you know the thousands of submissions that each festival gets each year, it is such a humbling reward to receive an official selection. I affectionate each festival The Last Touch has been a part of, and the memories and unique moments they’ve created for me:
• Pittsburgh Shorts 2020 was my world premiere and first virtual festival.
• Midwest Weirdfest was my premiere on a big screen.
• The upcoming Spanish film festival L'HIFF gives me my first nominations in categories such as Best Director and Best Screenplay!
• MiScifi is my first science fiction film festival. #scififan
• And Hollywood Boulevard Film Festival is now not only my first win but also my first festival in the capital of cinema!
I am grateful and share this win with all my cast and crew: my amazing D.P Yaniv Glaser, my co-star James Kacey, my voice star Monica Blaze Leavitt, my composer Steve Sholtes, and special thanks to Olivier Schultheis and all the friends who helped me complete the film.
The Last Touch will be screened at the annual HBFF festival at the end of the year on November 21-22 2021 at the Raleigh Studios Hollywood. I will share more info as the festival gets closer.

🇫🇷~Je suis honorée d'annoncer que The Last Touch remporte le prix du meilleur court métrage de science-fiction au Hollywood Boulevard Film Festival 2021! C'est la première fois que je gagne de l’autre côté de la camera.
Quand on sait que chaque festival reçoit des films par milliers, c'est déjà une énorme récompense d’être sélectionnée! Alors gagner… !!
J'affectionne chaque festival dont The Last Touch a fait partie, ainsi que les souvenirs et les moments uniques qu'ils ont créés pour moi:
• Pittsburgh Shorts était ma première mondiale, mon tout premier festival pour le film et premier festival virtuel,.. covid oblige...
• Midwest Weirdfest était ma première sur grand écran (tous les festivals étant virtuels),
• L’HIFF, un festival espagnol qui aura lieu en septembre, m’offre mes premières nominations dans des catégories telles que Meilleur réalisateur/trice et Meilleur scénario!~
• MiScifi est mon premier festival de film de science-fiction.
• Et maintenant Hollywood Boulevard Film Festival est non seulement ma première victoire mais aussi mon premier festival dans la capitale du cinéma.
Je suis émue, pleine de gratitude et je partage cette victoire avec toute mon équipe: mon incroyable Directeur de la Photographie, Yaniv Glaser, ma co-star James Kacey, ma voice-star Monica Blaze Leavitt, mon compositeur Steve Sholtes, et un MarSi spécial à Olivier Schultheis et tous les amis qui m’ont aidée à terminer le film.
The Last Touch sera projeté au festival annuel HBFF à la fin de l'année du 21 au 22 novembre 2021 aux Raleigh Studios Hollywood.
